We at CPSA strive to provide an environment where each student is known personally; where coursework is interesting and challenging; where students establish positive relationships with peers and adults; where character development and ethical issues are discussed openly and candidly; and where accountability, self-awareness, and independence are encouraged and nurtured in preparation for success in college and beyond.

Our teachers and administration inculcates in our students an enthusiasm for learning, and encouraging students to integrate all their knowledge. We focus on developing skills we believe are essential for personnel success and happiness, such as integrity, appreciation, problem solving, resilience, pride, follow-through and responsibility. These skills will develop strong self-reliant individuals who express their beliefs with respect for themselves and others. Our counselors help students develop an awareness of how they best learn, what their abilities, strength and challenges are, and encouraging students to use this awareness and knowledge for academic success.

CPSA encourages parental involvement and provides various opportunities for our parents to participate in the success of their children. We believe that our students will be successful when they believe in the oneness of God, His messenger and understand their responsibility towards others around them.

Masha’Allah we held our annual Fundraising Dinner on November 5, 2016.  We wanted to thank all of our parents, friends, community for showing us their overwhelming support.  The event, held at Waterford Banquets, was hosted by Mufti Azeemuddin Ahmed and Sheikh Kifah Mustapha and entertainment was provided by Azhar Uzman. Almost 600 people attended, and we were able to raise funds that will go towards our new building as well as renovations for our existing one. We will continue our efforts towards construction of the new building and Insha’Allah work will begin soon.  In order to continue on our timeline, we will continue with our fundraising efforts.  There is a link on our homepage where donations can be made at any time.  This event was a success not only because of the people who attended, but because of who helped to prepare for this months in advance.  The Board would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all of those who put in such long hours and showed such passion.  The organization from catering, babysitting, entertainment, etc. was absolutely amazing.  Again, we hope everyone enjoyed the event and look forward to our next one!

Alhamdullilah the speech team did very well on the 12/3/16  tournament.
Jamiel Abed- 3rd place Varsity Humorous Interpretation
Afreen Mohiuddin- 3rd place Next-In Oratorical Declamation
Maryam Ahmad-  3rd place Next-In Informative Speaking
Fatima Ala- 2nd place Novice Extemporaneous Speaking

Our school is getting a lot of praise from other coaches masha Allah (in speech and debate).  We are the only school with such a small graduating class and with no theater department competing in this state circuit.  Most of the speech teams are larger than our entire high school masha Allah.

We continue to encourage parents to support and participate in these events as judges are always in need!
